How Steve's Passion for Landscaping Led to the Creation of Steve's Odd Jobs
Steve (the founder of Steve's Odd Jobs) had come from 10+ years of restaurant management experience. In 2013 Steve made the decision to go back to school to pursue his dream of working within the landscape industry. He was getting burned out in the restaurant business and needed change. From 2013 to 2015 Steve attended a two-year landscape program at Picken's Technical College in Aurora, Colorado. While attending Picken's, Steve not only maintained a 4.0 GPA, but was successfully educated in every possible area within the landscape industry. While attending his two-year program at Picken's, Steve held a paid internship position at All Phase Landscape, a local landscape company here in Colorado. While working at All Phase Landscape Steve got valuable hands-on experience and training that helped him immensely. May 2015 Steve graduated from Picken's Technical College.
He received a number of certificates with his landscape program he completed. He also obtained an irrigation tech certification with the NALP- (National Association Of Landscape Professionals). After Steve graduated from Picken's he was offered a full-time position at All Phase Landscape. Steve declined their offer so he could start his own business, Steve's Odd Jobs. Steve grew up with a handyman background and wanted to inter-grade the handyman trade into Steve's Odd Jobs as is gives a much-needed balance in the winter season. Sadly snow removal isn't always a reliable source of income here in the Denver-Metro Area. From Handyman to Landscape services, we offer a very wide range of services. Steve's Odd Jobs was started from the ground-up, and we are still new and continuing to grow. Though we are still new, we take so much pride in our work it really sets our competition aside. We are eager to grow and build our customer base, as our customers always come first!
